It's that time of the week again where we show you the latest trends in the tuxedo world! GT is now carrying the slim fit tuxedos that come in a Notch Lapel and Peak Lapel. Slim fit tuxedo normally have that athletic cut in the jacket and have more of a tapered pant leg. With the Slim Fit tuxedo rental at Gerard Tuxedo you also have the option to go with more of an athletic cut dress shirt in black, ivory and white as well. "Skinny" is the new modern fit.

You can wear this look with a bow tie or normal windsor tie or there are even skinny ties that Gerard Tuxedo is able to order for weddings.  We love this look and think it's a very sleek classic look for any wedding.

Out of Town Groomsmen? Not a problem!

One of the biggest misconception about renting tuxedos through the "little guys" is since we only have one location we can't accommodate the out of town groomsmen in the wedding party. FALSE!!!

We can absolutely accommodate out of town groomsmen or even groomsmen who live 30 minutes away. Most tuxedo places give free measurements for any out of town groomsmen. We would just recommend that you actually go somewhere you can try a fitting coat on. For example tailors do not always have fitting coats. After your groomsmen have been measured they can call, fax, or submit their measurements online through our website. Once we receive their measurements we will contact them to let them now we received their measurements, get a down payment over the phone with a credit card and go over with them when their tuxedo will be available for them to come in and try everything on.

At Gerard Tuxedo we care about how your groomsmen look! So we do recommend that everyone actually comes in to try on their tuxedo. Our formal wear specialist will look over each and every guy to make sure things are fitting properly. If for some reason there are minor things that need to be adjusted like pant length or sleeve length we can fix that in the store with a 10 minute wait. Our plant is local so if there is the chance that someone needs a different coat size we will have it the next day for them. So there is a chance for some people to have a 3rd fitting to insure a proper fit for all your groomsmen. This only means your bridal party will look AWESOME!

GT Trend Alert!

All weddings have their own style. Being a tuxedo store we see all kinds of different combinations of styles in all our brides and grooms weddings. From VERY traditional to more modern laid back. Every week we are going to bring to you trends that we have been seeing more of and also show what we have to offer as one of the largest supplier in the Metro Detroit Area! 

Gray, or Grey? No matter what way you spell the color it's one of the most popular trends right now in the tuxedo/wedding world. Wither it's with Yellow, Purple, Pink, or all Gray, GT gives it 2 thumbs up!

We carry both styles shown above. These tuxedos are made by Jean Yves and are made of a super 100s wool, which means the wool is a nicer lighter wool. We also carry a 2 button peak tone on tone pine stripe in the lighter gray. 

We love these tuxedos because it's something different and they have vests that match the actual tuxedo so it give it that 3 piece suit look. The lighter tuxedo on the right above shows the matching vest.

Gerard's Tuxedos have been traveling!

Gerard Tuxedo can really take care of your groomsmen no matter what state or COUNTRY they live in! Our tuxedos went traveling this past month to Zimbabwe in South Africa!
