Halloween & November Hours

Gerard Tuxedo will only be open from 10AM - 2 PM on Saturday, October 31st for Halloween. We will also be getting into our winter hours after that for November and they will be as follows:

Sundays & Mondays: Closed
Tuesdays & Thursdays: 11AM - 7PM
Wednesdays: 11AM - 4PM
Fridays: 11AM - 6PM
Saturdays: 10AM - 5PM

November 26th & 27th: Closed for Thanksgiving

We're going to be at the bridal show at the Helenic Cultural Center this Sunday on November 1st. If you'd like to attend,just print out this card which is good for TWO FREE TICKETS! So feel free to bring a friend and stop by. The show will be from 1pm- 5pm.

Helpful Tips: Proper Tuxedo Sleeve Length

FUN FACTS!
Today we will go over proper sleeve length because we get many questions on what the length should be! The coat sleeves should fall to the end of your wrist if you are not planning on showing any cuff. For showing cuff you would want your shirt sleeve length to fall where your wrist ends and your coat no more than half an inch shorter than the shirt sleeve length. Personal preference comes into play but either way is proper :)

Good day everyone! So we here at Gerard Tuxedo have decided to start something new. With all the guys we get coming in and out everyday we noticed that not to many know much about tuxedos! So we have decided to start giving you all some fun facts about tuxedos you may not have known! Today we are going to go over the differences between Classic Fit tuxedos, Modern Fit tuxedos, and Slim Fit tuxedos.

Classic Fit- Has a standard lapel size

- Has a fuller chest (so it covers more)

- Has a higher waist

- Coat length is standard

Modern Fit- Narrow lapel

- Coat is slightly tapered

- The coat length is slightly shorter

- The coat is narrow throughout the body

Slim Fit- Slim lapel

- Higher armholes

- Narrow sleeves

- Tapered body

- Shorter in length (shortest coat style)
